Data collected

Perf Recorder captures performance and diagnostic information from the tab you actively choose to profile, including memory usage, CPU usage, DOM size, network requests, WebSocket frames, console output, and UX timing metrics such as INP, CLS, LCP, FCP, and Long Animation Frames.

How the data is used

• All recording and analysis happen locally in your browser.
• Reports are saved only to your device when you click Stop or Recover.
• No data is sent to the developer or any third party.
• Settings are stored locally using chrome.storage.local.
• This analyzer page also runs entirely in your browser; the file you open never leaves your machine.

Sharing and sale

Perf Recorder does not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties. We do not use it for anything other than the extension's single purpose of showing you your own performance measurements.
